Workshops

Young people are growing up in a world saturated with diet culture, social media, and appearance-focused messages. For many adolescents, this can lead to confusion, guilt, and unhealthy behaviours around food and body image.

In Australia, approximately one third of adolescents engage in disordered eating behaviours, making early, preventative education an essential part of student wellbeing.

At Certified Nutrition, I deliver trauma-informed, dietitian-led school wellbeing presentations that support students and families to build food confidence, body respect, and resilience.

These sessions are practical, age-appropriate, and designed to fit seamlessly into existing school wellbeing initiatives.

Why Schools Choose These Presentations

Schools work with me because the sessions are:

  • evidence-based and delivered by an Accredited Practising Dietitian

  • non-diet and weight-inclusive

  • trauma-informed and safe for adolescents

  • focused on prevention, not fear

  • aligned with student wellbeing and mental health frameworks

The aim is not to tell students just what to eat.
It is to give them the tools, language, and understanding to develop a healthier relationship with food and their bodies.
