About Me
Hi, I’m Sophia
I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and the founder of Certified Nutrition, supporting teens, young adults, and families in the Inner West of Sydney who are struggling with food.
I work with disordered eating, eating disorders, and stressful relationships with food, offering calm, compassionate, evidence-based nutrition support both in-person in the Inner West and via telehealth across Australia.
My approach is non-diet, non-judgemental, and focused on helping food feel normal again.
No guilt.
No food rules.
No pressure to be perfect.
Why I Do This Work
I’ve lived this too.
I went through my own journey with disordered eating, believing I was being “good” or “healthy.” Over time, I lost my period and noticed other parts of my life falling apart, my energy, my mood, my sense of self.
I realised that striving for the smallest body possible wasn’t sustainable. It didn’t improve my life, it shrank it.
Today, I have food freedom, enjoy all foods again, and my period has returned. This lived experience is a big part of why I support others now, helping them rebuild trust with food, their bodies, and themselves.
My Philosophy
My mission is to help people heal their relationship with food and their bodies through compassionate, evidence-based care, so they can move away from restriction and back into full, meaningful lives.
This work is about:
nourishment
safety
consistency
and support
Not control.
Not perfection.
