Eating disorder and disordered eating support for teens and young adults in Inner West Sydney, without diets, pressure, or perfection.
Certified Nutrition
Certified Nutrition is a calm, non-judgemental space offering evidence-based, non-diet nutrition support for teens, young adults, and families navigating disordered eating and eating disorders in Sydney’s Inner West.
Here, the focus is on rebuilding trust with food, reducing food noise, and supporting your body and nervous system, even if you feel unsure or scared.
You’re in the Right Place If..
Food feels overwhelming or takes up too much mental space
You feel stuck in cycles of restriction, guilt, or control
You want freedom with food but don’t feel “ready”
You’ve wondered if you’re not “sick enough” to deserve help
You don’t need to be ready.
You don’t need to be sick enough.
You just need support.
Hi, I’m Sophia
Hello!
I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and the founder of Certified Nutrition, supporting teens, young adults, and families in Inner West Sydney with disordered eating and eating disorders.
My work isn’t about fixing you or taking control away.
It’s about creating enough safety for your body and brain to settle.
There are:
No strict meal plans
No calorie counting
No “good” or “bad” foods
Just compassionate, evidence-based nutrition care that meets you where you are.
How This Is Different
You don’t need to:
Feel ready
Have everything figured out
Give up control overnight
Commit to recovery perfectly
Getting Started
Reach out or book online
We talk about what’s going on
We decide together what support feels right
You don’t have to change your body to start taking care of it.
Shifting your intention from wanting to change your body to wanting to help your body can change how you eat, move, and relate to yourself.
“I’m very grateful to have worked with Sophia. She supported me to feel more confident around food and to approach eating with less stress and more consistency. Her guidance has helped me better understand my hunger cues and feel more at ease with food overall.”
